The town of Pinoso retains its old Spanish charm whilst having many modern features. There is a new twenty-four hour medical centre, a sports centre with 3 swimming pools and many other sports facilities.
If you are an English family wanting to move to Spain, there is just about everything you could need in terms of local facilities in and around Pinoso, including good local schools and exceptional vetinary services and kennel facilties. There are also local riding stables, for horse lovers and spanish lessons are available in Pinoso for anybody wanting to improve their Spanish. Elda is only 20 minutes away and has four more supermarkets to choose from; the Mercadona, Lidll, Dia and Aldi, which are all on the same road. There are English dentists at Fortuna and half an hour away at Elche, there is a large safari park and a brand new shopping centre (Cortes de Ingles), which is full of English brand names for clothing and footwear
Pinoso is classed as the fifth most affluent town in Spain due to the marble that is produced here and the many surrounding Bodegas and vineyards.
Pinoso Town has a good range of bars and restaurants to choose from, many with delicious, inexpensive Spanish menus (and English menus are also available in cafes and restaurants). Local supermarkets provide a good selection of produce, whilst the Saturday market, indoor and outdoor, provides fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish.

Colourful Fiestas and holidays are celebrated in Pinoso throughout the year – The month of August is particularly special when a fiesta is held in honour of Our Lady the Healer between the 1st and 10th of the Month. In February there is a fair celebrating the municiple independance of Pinoso, the 'Dia del Villazgo'
PINOSO LOCATION
Alicante airport is approximately 45 minutes away, Murcia can be reached in around the same time, and it is an hour's drive to the lovely coastal areas.
Pinoso is approx 24km from the nearby spa town of Fortuna, which is famous for its hot springs. In Fortuna, there are steam rooms and water therapy services, swimming pools, hot springs and massage facilities.
Market day in Pinoso town is Saturday.
